Megan in her "Ball" dress. Social Leadership is a program offered at our school. The kids learn etiquette, manners, social skills like introductions, dancing, how to RSVP etc. The Ball is the end of the year activity where they get to have a nice 6 course dinner with all the appropriate utensils and procedures. Hold the spoon like this, scoop away from you, when you're done put your fork here, don't start eating until, the rolls get passed to the, always pass both the salt and pepper, don't...They dance, with dance cards, and play games and the boys serve dessert to their dance partners. The evening ends with awards and a parent waltz. Lots of fun and learning. I just can't believe Megan is almost finished with 8th grade. Where does the time go?
