Greetings

Nothing too exciting going on here, which is just fine by me. It's getting cold outside, and sometimes all I want to do is snuggle up in a blanket on the couch and watch PBS with Joshy or read a good book, or maybe even fall asleep. The kids are all healthy and doing well in school. Jake did soooo well on his ACT, and his grades are phenomenal, so he got a scholarship to Utah State University, which he's considering quite seriously even though I think BYU is, of course, waaaay better. Megan is waiting (not so patiently) for me to take her to get her driver's permit so she can start driving with a parent. Oh boy. Zac turned 12, which means he was ordained a Deacon and is passing the Sacrament and collecting Fast Offerings. Pretty neat. Lindsey is counting the days until her 9th birthday and hoping she can get her ears pierced. Melissa is enjoying 1st grade and keeping her teachers on their toes. Josh is asking me multiple times a day how many days, "How wong? How woooonnngg until Fanksgiving and den Christmas?" Man, it may be a long time. And then how long until his birthday and then he's 5? Max is busy at work and I'm trying to keep up with all of them. Hope you're well and happy and you know that we are Thankful for you!

Thankful for you too! And as for this weather...I'd rather sun and heat, although it's a good excuse to wrap up in a blanket and drink a big cup of hot chocolate :)
